Principal's Message

Good afternoon CHS students and families,

It has been wonderful to see so many students and families at registration yesterday and today. The school really comes alive when students come back, and the energy is electric. We are open for registration until 7 this evening. Come get an ID card, parking pass, locker, Ipad (for Incoming Freshmen), and get help with online enrollment verification and payment if needed.

We are looking forward to our Open House event next Wednesday from 5-7 PM. Thanks to our amazing community and their support with the passage of the bond, we have a beautiful new wing for our students to enjoy. At Open House, there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony, barbecue, and meet and greet with teachers. Schedules will be released earlier in the day so students can tour their future classrooms, and 9th grade students will have a “Q and A” session.

Tuesday, September 5 is the first day of school. 1st period starts at 8:40. We are so excited to welcome our students.

Important Information

Student Schedules: 1st trimester student schedules will be released via Student/Parent Vue on Wednesday, 8/30 prior to Open House.

Fall Open House: Please save the date for our Fall Open House on Wednesday, August 30 from 5-7 PM. We will have a ribbon cutting/dedication of the new wing, a barbecue, and students/families will be able to check out our new space as well as the rest of our refreshed building. Teachers will be in their classrooms to meet their future students. We will also have an optional additional session for incoming 9th grade students and families.

Schedules:

We have all of our athletics schedule all in one place on our master athletic schedule. This includes game times, locations, and bus departure times. It is updated real-time by your athletic department. Go to this link to see the current schedule, which is subject to change with little notice.
