Happy Friday Families!
In literacy, we have begun to focus on folk tales and fairy tales! Next week's story is "The Little Red Hen". Kindergarteners will also continue to study plants! If you have not already picked up bean packets, we highly encourage you to do so if possible! The seeds can be used for planting, and for science activities on the weekly menus such as bean dissection and seed germination.
Bean packets will be available for pick up during lunch pick up at Watertown High School on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11-1, outside of the high school at the school nutrition lunch pick up located behind the high school in the staff parking lot right outside of the garage doors.
This is a safe way to get outside and pick up supplies to do science learning at home! Please email Elizabeth Kaplan, K-8 Math and Science Coordinator with any questions. elizabeth.kaplan@watertown.k12.ma.us. If you pick up the seeds and do the lessons, take a picture and share with your teacher or post on the Watertown School Gardens Facebook page.
Please complete the brief end-of-week reflection attached below by selecting the name of your child's teacher. The information on this survey is helpful for teachers and a great way for the children to think back on the week to celebrate their hard work and set goals for the following week.

When logging into a school session, we would appreciate if this was done using the student's first name. This allows us to more easily monitor who we are letting into meetings and assist when making breakout rooms. Simply click on the name in your video box and go to "rename".
