We will begin NWEA MAP testing next week. On Wednesday and Thursday, 9/8 and 9/9, students will be assessed in reading and math. MAPs are unique in that they are adaptive tests that your child complete on a Chromebook. Your child’s MAP results are reported in RIT scores. This is a different type of score than a typical test that provides a percentage correct. As a result, we can easily measure growth in learning. Please make sure your child gets a good night's rest, comes to school on time and has a good breakfast so they can do their best.

Don't forget there is no school Monday September 6th for Labor Day!

District 48 is currently exploring the interest and feasibility of implementing a COVID-19 screening (surveillance) test program. We are seeking community input regarding interest in such a program. Please complete this survey no later than Wednesday, September 8 at 3:00pm. Thank you!

• WATER BOTTLES- Send your child with a water bottle or refillable bottle. During these hot days the students are getting thirsty, but because of Covid regulations we can only fill our water in cups. Please try to remember as we do not have cups to pass out to every student.
• PE SHIRTS- If you have not already done so, you can pay for your child's PE shirt with cash, check, or credit card on our website. Exact amount only, no change available. $7
