Google Drive allows students to share files with teachers from anywhere and any computer or mobile device.
EDMODO
Edmodo is a web-based platform that provides a way for your class to connect and collaborate, share content, and access homework.

GOOGLE PRESENTATION
Google Presentation is a web-based tool that is very similar to Microsoft Powerpoint. However, with Google Presentations one can access anywhere there is internet available.
EDPUZZLE
EDpuzzle allows you to add your voice and questions to educational videos, search for educational videos, insert your own voice comments, insert questions that embed on the video timeline, create classes to track student work.
HAIKU DECK
Haiku Deck is another PowerPoint alternative that allows one to save presentations online, share presentations on social media sites, download them as PDFs or PPs, and share with others or keep private.
READ OR ANNOTATE TEXT
NOTABLE PDF
Notable PDF is a web tool that allows one to upload documents from Google Drive, Box, or Dropbox and then highlight, underline, strike through, add comments or text. Documents can then be uploaded to Notable to get a link to share, printed or downloaded with annotation to PDF or text file, or save file to drive with or without annotation.
PRINT FRIENDLY
PrintFriendly cleans and formats web pages for perfect print experience. PrintFriendly removes Ads, Navigation and web page junk, so you save paper and ink when you print. It's a great tool to use when your are researching the web and need data to read without all the clutter that comes with webpages.
EVERNOTE
Evernote is a notes app designed to help you stay organized. You can add text, images, audio, scanned documents, files, and more to your notebook, synchronize everything across all of your devices in Evernote’s free apps.
SHARE WEB RESOURCES
SYMBALOO
Symbaloo is a web tool that allows one to organize and share the best of the web. With Symbaloo one can create multiple webmixes that can be used per class or per unit.
DIIGO
Diigo is a free social bookmarking tool that allows users to add tags for organization, share with friends, add your own annotations, and highlight notes.
LIVEBINDERS
Livebinders is a digital 3 ring binder that you can put virtually anything into; webpage, PDF, document, image, or video. Everything is organized by tab and you can even have subtabs within those tabs.
EXIT TICKET
GOOGLE FORMS
Google Forms is a great way to monitor a quick exit ticket and then show summary of answers.
SOCRATIVE
Socrative has a template for exit tickets. No set up required. Three questions are asked with the last question being an oral question asked by the teacher.
POLLEVERYWHERE
Poll Everywhere can be used as an exit ticket by using cell phones or laptops. The great part about Poll Everywhere is the answers are anonymous.
GATHER FEEDBACK OR DATA
GOOGLE FORMS
Google Forms is a great way to gather feedback. What makes this tool so valuable is that the responses appear in a spreadsheet. Here are several tutorial guides for using Google Forms.
EASY POLLS ONLINE
Easy Polls is free online service that allows you to create a poll and then embed or share the link. You can change the theme and the settings. No tutorials are needed. It is a very simple interface.
SURVEY MONKEY
Survey Monkey basic subscription is free and allows the user to ask up to 10 questions and 100 responses per survey.
ACCESS UNDERSTANDING INSTANTLY
KAHOOT!
Kahoot is a fun way to access understanding because it is a game type format response system. Students are awarded points for answering correctly and quickly. The teacher controls the pace of the quiz.
SOCRATIVE
Socrative allows users to ask multiple choice, true/false, or short answer questions. The great part about Socrative is the self-graded quizzes. Just run the report to see the results.
POLLEVERYWHERE
Poll Everywhere shows results from quizzes immediately and results can be streamed via a word cloud, ticker view, text wall or cluster. The great part about Poll Everywhere is the answers are anonymous.
REAL TIME DISCUSSION
TODAY'S MEET
Today's Meet is a backchannel that allows for discussions to take place as the same time as teaching. It is a free service. Create a room and then share the link. All responses can be downloaded at the end of session.
PADLET
Padlet is a online corkboard. Create a wall and then share the link. Those with the link can add post-it notes to the wall. The responses on the wall can be downloaded at the end of the discussion.
Twitter is a social media platform. Using hastags (#) is a great way to conduct realtime discussion. Users can search the hashtag to follow the discussion.
ONLINE PORTFOLIOS
BLOGS
Blogs are a great way to showcase a student's work. My favorite platform is Blogger because the interface is so easy. For elementary students an easier interface to use is KidBlogs because no email is needed for sign up.
LIVEBINDER
Livebinders is a digital 3 ring binder that you can put virtually anything into; webpage, PDF, document, image, or video. Everything is organized by tab and you can even have subtabs within those tabs.
SMORE
Smore is a web tool that allows users to create online newsletters, announcements, etc. If your are reading this then you are on Smore. Smore has any simplistic interface that doesn't require hours of training, virtually no training.
CREATION TOOLS
CANVA
Canva allows users to create amazing images with ease. This web tool is free. Some images have a price of $1 but there are thousands on the site for free or you can upload your own.
TACKK
Tackk is a lot like Smore. It's a free online site that allows you to create newsletters, announcements, etc.
LUCIDPRESS
Lucidpress is a web-based drag and drop publishing app, enabling anyone to create stunning content for print and digital. This replaces Microsoft Publisher or having to learn Adobe suite.
