The Appleton Echo
Spring Term 1, Week 2
A Word from Mr Broom
Next week we have Rabbi Salamo visiting school as we explore the world of judaism. Meanwhile, our teachers are working on refining the new Spring Learning Journeys and I'll be updating the website on Monday with our Week-by-Week plans so you can see the focus for each subject.
Have a lovely weekend everyone.
Spring Term Learning Overviews
Our teachers have produced the Spring Term Week by Week overviews so that you can see what's happening in class on a weekly basis in each subject area. The full Learning Journey planning is also available on our website.
The Week by Week overviews can really help if you're think of things to do on a weekend or visiting the library.

New Feature - Car Convos!
Talk is really important for all learners in school and we know that our children are exposed to lots of exciting learning opportunities, both at home and at school. To help develop speaking and listening skills and knowledge of the wider world, we're introducing Car Convos! A topic that we share in the newsletter on a Friday, that families can discuss in the car on their travels. We'll then pick this up after the weekend.
This week's Car Convo:
'Should passports be removed, allowing people to move freely across countries?'

Thank you for your support with this.
Staff Shout Outs
I've had a few messages from parents/carers asking about how they can send a staff shoutout for a staff team. It's great that you think about them and really does help to raise morale.
