Welcome to Salem Middle School's weekly newsletter. These will be sent out every Friday, recapping the week and publishing dates of important events in coming weeks. We hope you find the information useful! We are ready for a great school year at SMS.

Ms. Shelli presented Madeline with a shirt for winning the student drawing this week! Congrats, Madeline!

Picture day is Wednesday, September 16

Picture day will be held on Wednesday, September 16th. Order forms went home with students on Thursday.

Students participating in Online Lions have the option to get their picture taken that days as well from 1-2 p.m.

Yearbooks are still availalble!

Anyone who still wants/needs to purchase a yearbook from the 2019-2020 school year, Mrs. Day has them in the office. They are $13.

Sign up for Christmas Assistance

We are now taking online applications for the Christmas Assistance Program. Please see the link below to apply. Attached is a flyer with more information about how to apply. If you know of someone that could benefit from the program please give them this information.

CAST - After School Tutoring

CAST is planning to help students as much as we can! We are offering appointment times for students on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons on a limited basis for homework/classwork help in person and also offering virtual appointments! We are not offering transportation this year. Parents need to sign up at our website to reserve a spot. Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis. The last day to purchase Chromebook insurance is Tuesday, Sept. 15.
Picture Day Sept. 16.
The Activities and Athletics calendar is updated on the Salem Middle School website with the 20/21 schedules as they currently stand. The calendar can be found on the website under the ACTIVITIES AND ATHLETICS tab at the bottom of the list.
