The O.W.L. - Our Weekly Letter - October 8, 2023
Special Guests Stop by Craven Early College High School
It was a busy time at Craven Early College High School as we welcomed special guests on campus throughout the week. On Monday, we were delighted to spend time with middle school counselors across Craven County Schools. Our middle school colleagues are so instrumental in helping to recruit our student body that we wanted to show our appreciation by providing a light breakfast as well as updating them on some of our new courses, initiatives, and priorities.
On Thursday, we were excited to host the New Bern Area Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Craven Class on our campus. Representatives from many industries were on hand to learn about our school and visit our classrooms. We always cherish the opportunity to welcome community members to CECHS and highlight the great things happening at our school on a daily basis.
Last Friday, we welcomed several college representatives to our campus for a college fair. Kudos to our counselor, Mrs. Lucas, for organizing this event.
