Memorial High School Update
Manchester Memorial High School - October 1, 2023
Opening of School
I cannot express how proud I am of our students, staff and entire school community for a great first month of school. We have seen improvements in many areas and the school has been an extremely positive environment. We will continue to work with our transportation department to make improvements in that area. The continued growth at Memorial has me energized to keep getting better everyday. REMINDER - Open House will be Thursday, 10/5 from 6:00-8:00pm

Memorial Highlights - September
Senior Sunrise
Our Senior Class expanded upon a recent tradition by having the Senior Sunrise at the beginning of the year. It was a great moment to kick off the year with some Dunks and Spikeball while they watched the sun rise over the school. We are so excited to celebrate their accomplishments this year. Such an awesome group! Class of 2024...Let's Go!
Memorial High School Gamechangers
The Crusader Gamechangers were awarded at the CelebrateEd event on 9/23. These students and staff have had a positive "gamechanging" impact on our school. Congratulation to students, Bradley DeBlois, Torle Edumene, Mack Tripp, and teachers, Bill Petersen, Andrea DeWitt, and Dave Bailey.
Unified Soccer Debut!
Manchester Memorial hosted it's first ever Unified Soccer Practice on September 20th. A lot of effort went into making this a reality for our athletes. A special thank you to Christine Pariseau-Telge, Coach Ara, Coach Kyle and TOPSoccer for making this happen.
Best of the 603
Manchester Memorial High School was one of 3 high schools in New Hampshire awarded the Best of the 603.
2023 Yale Educator Award
Social Studies Teacher Dave Gocklin was a recipient of the 2023 Yale Educator Award. The Yale Educator Recognition Program recognizes outstanding educators from around the world who support and inspire their students to perform at high levels and achieve excellence. Of this year's 385 nominees, who represent 43 states and 28 countries, 80 teachers and 32 counselors were selected to receive the award.
Teacher of the Year Finalist!
Memorial High School recently welcomed the NH. State Department of Education Teacher of the Year Selection Committee to meet with Crusader Teacher Mr. Gregory Parker. Mr. Parker is a finalist for the NH Teacher of the Year. It was a great experience for our school community. Mr. Parker also received recognition from Manchester Proud in a ceremony for all of the Teacher of the Year nominees from the Manchester School District.
