The safety of all of our students, your children, is of great importance. Our policies are implemented with safety being our first and foremost concern. We are requesting your continuous support in upholding our high standards of performance in academics, activities, and behavior.

We were all very hopeful that 2021 would be "different" than 2020.

We cherish moments that we can have the entire Davey Community together as a family.

We are still finding ways to pivot to try and maintain some of our traditions while keeping everyone safe.

We appreciate your kindness, love, support and understanding. The classroom parties were flawless. Most importantly, the children had a memorable day with their friends! Thank you for sending in party treats, games and activities!

Our traditional "school-wide" movie the day before break was split into two groups (k-2/3-5) to ensure more social distancing while masking up.

At school, we have a few simple ideas we use to guide how we all work together, both children and adults. We call these our expectations. These expectations guide how we act and talk with each other in every part of our school building and school day. These same expectations can be useful at home. You might find this type of chart useful to help guide your child’s positive behavior at home. Using the chart below, you and your child can create your own, personalized chart with expectations for how your family will care for each other at home. Though this chart could be used with children of any age, the example chart was written with elementary and middle school children in mind.

The U.S.D.A. approved free meals to all students regardless of their income through the 2021-22 school year.

*Although lunch and breakfast are free for the school year we still need all families to fill out Free and Reduced Lunch Forms. Thank you!!

Lunch Monitors are needed:

• 3.0 hours/day and pay is $10.50/hour
• Please contact the school if interested.

• All Staff, Students and Guests will be required to wear masks when entering the building.
