If you need to contact your child during the day, please call the main office (708-458-7590). If your child needs to contact you, they can use the phone in the office.
Please help us by reminding your child of this rule so that we can continue to keep our school safe.

Argo Registration Days at HMS!
Argo High School counselors will be at HMS on February 16-18, 2022 to register your student for high school!
February 16th: Counselors will come out to talk to our students about all the course offerings.
February 17th: Counselors will come out to HMS to register students for Argo.
February 18th 8:30-10:30: Counselors will come out to HMS to meet with any parent who would like to review the courses their students were registered for.

KEEPING OUR KIDS SAFE
The State of Illinois requires schools to educate all students (pre-school through 12th grade) about sexual abuse and assault awareness, Erin’s Law legislation.

Summit School District 104 uses age-appropriate lessons to educate students about: safe touch and unsafe touch, safe secrets, and unsafe secrets, and how to get away and tell a trusted adult. The lessons teach children to: recognize child sexual abuse and report abuse.
When: February 21st-March 4th

Please be aware if your child has any of the following symptoms Covid-19 should be suspected and your child should NOT attend school until you have spoken to the school nurse. If your child presents to school with any of the above symptoms you will be called to pick up your child immediately. You will then be given instructions on how and when your child may return to school.
· Fever (100.4 or higher)
· New onset of moderate to severe headache
· Shortness of breath
· New cough
· Sore throat
· Vomiting
· Diarrhea
· New loss of sense of taste or smell
· Fatigue from an unknown cause
· Muscle, or body aches from and unknown cause.
If a student has had contact with a COVID positive person, they must be kept home, and the building nurse notified. If any student while at school discloses, they have been in contact with a COVID positive person you will be called to pick up your child immediately. You will then be given instructions on how and when your child may return to school.
In our efforts to keep everyone safe the nurses will be diligent in following up on any student who presents to school ill. We understand keeping your child home may have its difficulties, however it is the only way to keep our community safe.
