Martin School Family Update

Dear Martin Families and Caregivers,

Wednesday is the First Day of School! Our INCREDIBLE custodial team has done a magnificent job cleaning and waxing the floors! Teachers have readied student desks and put together beautiful bulletin boards! We are ready!

Arrival and dismissal procedures will largely be the same as last year. Please click here for more details.

As with the start of any school year, please be patient as children learn our arrival and dismissal routines. The first week is always slower than the second, but each week, we'll all get better and faster as our routines become second nature.

We are all very excited about the First Day of School!

If you missed our Medication Drop Off day, please contact Mrs. Caitlin Robbins, Martin's School Nurse, to coordinate a time to bring in your child's medication. Please remember, medications should never be brought to or from school by students.

Our Martin School Association is our school's PTO. Please consider volunteering to help coordinate enrichment events for our students, to volunteer in the library, to become a Room Parent, to be a member of our Book Fair Committee, and more! We'd love to have you be an active member of our Martin School Team!

The MSA's first general meeting for all families is scheduled for Wednesday September 6 at 7pm in the Martin Library and online! If you've ever organized a play date or birthday party, you know how important email addresses and cell phone numbers are. To help Martin families connect with other Martin families, our MSA puts together a school directory each year. Information collected for the directory includes student/parent names, emails, phone numbers, etc. You can choose to submit as much or as little information as you would like. Participation in the directory is optional, but it is a wonderful tool for families to have. Additionally, the directory is password protected.

Bus passes will be distributed to students before September 19. Starting September 19, students will need a bus pass to ride the bus.
