FAST will be closed on Monday for Labor Day. Students are off on Tuesday and Wednesday for teacher work day and professional development. Students may have work assigned asynchronously for Wednesday so please be sure to check their teacher's Google site or Class Dojo. We hope you enjoy your long weekend.

Fulton County Schools has launched a Bus Rider of the Month program. This month, FAST bus driver, Mr. Shirley has recognized kindergarten student, Esther O, and first grader, Aria G. Please help us congratulate these two students for setting such a great example for FAST students on the bus.

Thank you to all of the families that joined us for Curriculum Night. We had a great turnout and a lot of information was shared. If you were unable to make it, teachers have posted the information they shared either on their Google sites or Class Dojo. We are working to make Ms. Miller's presentation available as well.

Special thanks to our teachers and staff who were here for a very long day to make sure our families stay informed about their students' education.

MAP testing will conclude next week. Students will take the last section on Thursday with make up testing on Friday. Please make every effort to get your student to school on time as we will begin promptly at 8am. There is no preparation needed other than to make sure students get a good night's sleep and have a healthy breakfast.

As a reminder, all visitors - including parents - must check in at the front desk in Innovation Hall upon arrival. No one is permitted to enter Student Hall without having first checked in at the front desk. Parents are not permitted to walk their student to their classroom. We have staff available during morning drop-off to ensure students are attended to.

Students are expected to be in their homeroom by 7:40am each day. If they arrive after 8am, you will need to sign them in at the front office. If your student misses school, please send the absence excuse to attendance@fastk8.org

All students are expected to be in proper uniform every day. In the near future, parents should expect a call from the front office with a request to bring the appropriate clothing for their student if they are out of uniform on more than one occasion.
