Music And Dances
Mobility in Spain
Our Erasmus+ partners in Spain prepared an excellent meeting in Andalusia from 22nd till 26th of October 2019. During these days we learned about Flamenco and Sevillana dances, we listened to local genres of music and we discovered that music tradition of the area goes well beyond the globally known and admired Flamenco. Students from all the countries, Spain, Greece, Latvia, Poland and Italy presented music from their own homeland, danced together and explored the differences and similarities between the traditions. The main events were organized at the Reyes Catolicos School at Vélez-Málaga, but we also visited Málaga, Granada, Nerja, Arenas and of course Torre del Mar. A lot of interaction and exchanges between teachers and between students and also the hosting families. An unforgettable week for all the participants!

Mobility in Latvia
Our meeting in Latvia from the 1st till the 5th of April, 2019, was a very pleasant surprise and a very enjoyable experience! Our centre of activities was the Daugavpils Secondary School no.3 but we also visited the wonderful Riga, Skriveri, Koknese, Preili and Aglona. Students presented traditional recipes from their countries in order to create a virtual cookbook! Also they had a great time with their colleagues and the hosting families and a lot of delicious traditional local food. Our time was full of workshops, packaging local sweets, making our own bread, constructing lapbooks and enjoying Latvian dances (Latgalian to be more specific) and folk music! Great memories from a very special country!
Festivities
Mobility in Greece
Between 6th and 10th of May, 2019, our Greek partners organized our meeting in Corfu island and in Athens city. Students from all five countries made presentations introducing all of us to the various festivities and customs all year long but also giving us the opportunity to find similarities and differences. We had visits around the island of Corfu, tried local food and products and also had a lengthy and important dive into the ancient greek civilization during our visits at the archaeological museums and the visit of Acropolis of Athens. We had also the opportunity to paint timelines about each countrie's festivities, we constructed carnival masks that converted us to birds of an ancient greek comedy, and we learned to sing and dance greek folk songs!
