A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
It is hard to believe that this upcoming week is the end of Semester 1. I'm proud of the work our students are doing and the dedication they've shown this semester both in and out of the classroom. We are fortunate to have a wonderful staff that are continually creating engaging learning activities and supporting our students. I'm wishing our students and staff a great end to the semester!
Students will off on Friday, January 19 and second semester starts January 22.
Go Foxes!

First Responders Recognized at Friday Night's Boys' Basketball Game
A moment was taken during half time at the Boy's Basketball game on Friday, January 5 to recognize our local volunteer first responders and to thank them for all they do for the Omro community. We appreciate the important job they do and want them to know how much we commend them for being there for Omro!!
Congratulations Dance Team

Congratulations, Powerlifters!
Last weekend at the Winneconne Regional, Mason Levezow (below) broke the high school squat record for his weight class at 480 pounds. Additionally, he now also holds the deadlift record in all weight classes of 545 pounds, and a total of all three lifts of 1265 pounds!
We had two athletes, Madelynn Poppy and Jayden Dalton qualify for the state competition in Appleton at the end of the season.
Along with the state qualifiers, we also had multiple athletes place top three first place in their weight class: Mason Levezow, Jayden Dalton and Madeline Brooks and two in second place: Madelynn Poppy and Jocelyn Alvarez.
Finally, joining these athletes who qualified at regionals, we had the following students qualify for state competition at Laconia earlier this season: Mason Levezow, Jack Wellhoefer, Jocelyn Alvarez, and Madeline Brooks!
Update on our Bowling Team
The bowling team is half way through their season and sitting in good spots in their standings.
The boys are tied for 3rd place in the Division 2 section of district 8A, just 2 games out of first place. Christopher Cieszynski continues to lead all boy bowlers in District 8A with a 94% fill percentage (strikes and spares combined) In the team's last match against Hortonville the boys had their best outing of the season averaging 162, with high games of 197 & 175.
The girls team continues to roll along with their winning ways after defeating Hortonville this week. The Lady Foxes improved to 8-1 on the season and maintained their first place lead in Division 2 of District 8A. On Thursday the girls averaged 143 with high games of 157, 152 and 151 during their 9 game match. Airie Frost and Lillian Longworth have powered the Lady Foxes all season and are currently ranked 4th and 5th respectfully out of all girl bowlers in District 8A.
The team will face Oshkosh North next Tuesday (1/16) at Fox Lanes.

Mental and Behavioral Health Resource
Well Badger Resource Center is an information and referral (I&R) service for Wisconsin individuals and families. Well Badger is a one-stop connection to community, social, health, and government programs and resources — so you can find what you need, when you need it.
The Navigator is a free, confidential, online tool designed to help parents, caregivers, and professionals navigate mental and behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and young adults under the age of 21! Just answer a few questions about the child, and the Navigator provides a customized guide to connect the child with the resources and support they both need and deserve.
