CFF NEWSLETTER: Read-a-Thon Results
January 17, 2023
Message from Our President
Dear Community Families –
I can’t believe we’re already a week into 2nd semester. I hope everyone had a healthy and fun winter break.
Before we really dive into 2023, I just wanted to thank everyone for your tremendous support of our Readathon fundraiser. Our minimum goal was to raise $50,000 but we ended the fundraiser having raised over $59,000! We received donations from 43 states and 5 countries - U.K., Belgium, Canada, Israel, and South Korea. Our community just keeps growing… amazing!
Since we met our fundraising goal, Thursday, January 26th will be NO HOMEWORK DAY. Whooo-hoooo!!!! After logging in over 175,000 reading minutes to support Readathon, our students deserve a night off!
Thank you again for your support, Community!
Sincerely,
Kate Harrington
CFF, President
