As the sun set Saturday evening we reflected on the successful journey of our graduates and their many accomplishments. We were thrilled for our seniors as we enjoyed a fantastic graduation with more than 1000 guests in attendance to celebrate our students and their bright futures. Senior class president Alex Rock served as the emcee for the ceremony which included student comments from Macey Spangenberg and Melody Todd and performances from Meghan Laurence & Emma Offord, our chorus, and our band. It was a great celebration!

Our freshmen will participate in biology MCAS Tuesday and Wednesday of this week (6/7-6/8).

We are excited to host another Inspired Learning Day on June 14! The sessions have been published and students are getting excited! Click on the link below to access additional information and the schedule for the day.

Student sign-ups will take place on Tuesday, June 7 at 1:00pm.

We are excited to let you know that our school counselors have been working hard on building student schedules for the upcoming school year. We are in the process of updating schedules and expect to share them with students next week, allowing time to check-in with school counselors prior to the end of the school year in order to resolve any scheduling concerns and confirm each students’ 2022-2023 course of study. We will inform all students and parents when schedules are ready to be shared.

Please find summer courses for your reference. These courses are tuition free with grant assistance from MA Office of Economic Development and would be appropriate for any graduating seniors who are interested in entering the workforce or trade.

Every year the Upton Men's Club (UMC) puts on the town fireworks display and will be holding the event again this year on Saturday June 25th. As part of the event, the UMC will have multiple bouncy houses for younger children to enjoy. In past years high school students have volunteered to help staff that area and it has worked very well. They wouldn't be able to do it without students' help and it is a great opportunity for students to get some volunteer hours helping within the community. There is a signup sheet in the main office at Nipmuc where students can sign up for either shift (4pm-6:30pm or 6:30pm to 9:00pm).
