This Friday, October 21st, we will have a schoolwide Phillies Spirit Day. Wear your favorite Phillies gear or wear red & white to support the Phillies in their playoff run!

East Fallowfield will have harvest parties on October 28th. Students may wear costumes this day as part of our Red Ribbon Spirit Week. We will not allow play weapons of any kind, masks or gore.

We will NOT be having spectators at our harvest parade this year. We will however be posting pictures and videos on our PTO Facebook page so that you can see footage from our parade. Please be sure to follow our East Fallowfield PTO page on Facebook. Parties will be for students only, no outside guests.

Lastly, we ask for your support in ensuring students are not coming to school on Monday, October 31st in costumes. We will not be celebrating Halloween on Monday, October 31st. Instead, we are asking everyone to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness month.

Goal for the Year: Create a fun and safe environment where my students can be their best selves and learn new things.

In STEM, second graders have been exploring and learning about the 3 states of matter, SOLID, LIQUID, and GAS while preparing for our final project of designing a cooler to keep our ice pops cold. Students made their own ice pops to use for the final project as an extra bonus! We will begin to learn about what materials make a good insulator and conductor through a SIP (Scientific Inquiry Process). Next up, students will begin the design of their cooler. 📦If anyone has any extra shoe boxes that you are not using, could you please send in to use for our project? Thank You📦

The American Red Cross visited East Fallowfield on Thursday and presented to our 1st and 3rd grade classes. First graders learned all about being prepared with Pedro the Penguin. Third grade participated in a lesson called the Pillow Project.

Mrs. Adams and her 3rd grade class earned an ice cream party for their excellent behavior in their classroom and around the school! Our students earn points for showing safety, ownership, acceptance and respect. Way to go, 3rd graders! Keep S.O.A.R.ing.

Red Ribbon Week runs from October 24th through October 28th. Ms. Stover will be around to each classroom to teach about the importance of living a drug free life. This year’s theme is: “Celebrate Life. Live Drug Free.” Please participate in the following school spirit activities:

Mum orders are to be picked up today, Monday, October 17th from 4-5 pm behind the school.

This year at East Fallowfield we are revamping our PBIS program and focusing on our Big East Expectations of Safety, Ownership, Acceptance and Respect. Last week, students had the opportunity to learn what these expectations look like, sound like, and feel like in different areas around the school including the classroom, cafeteria, playground, bus, hallway, and bathrooms.

Students are so excited to be rewarded for meeting these expectations with Class Dojo points. Parents please be sure to accept the Class Dojo invite from your child's teacher so you can track the great work they are doing in class.
