Back To School, Open Enrollment & Open House Information

๐ก Onsite Open Enrollment Aug 2nd-6th
For NEW High School students and students that did not complete a class schedule pre-enrollment last Spring, please contact our HS Counselor, Mrs. Amy Donathan at 918.658.3368 to make an appointment for class scheduling. If you completed the Spring course selection, there is no need to contact the office regarding class scheduling. The High School office will be open from 8 am - 3 pm August 2nd-6th.
For all NEW enrollees, please make plans to bring the following required enrollment documents to the High School and Elementary office next week: copy of CDIB (if applicable), birth certificate, social security card, and for all new students a copy of the student's transcript from their previous school. Foreign Exchange students must provide a copy of their J1 student passport.
Please note: Freshman orientation has been cancelled.

๐ก Back To School Open House - Invitation Only - Tuesday, August 10th 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Attention Parents: Due to increasing positive cases of COVID-19 in our area and school community, we have scaled back the "Back To School Open House" night scheduled for Tuesday, Aug 10 from 5-8 pm to invitation only as follows:
All students in transitional grades (PK, Kdg, 2nd, 6th, and 9th) AND all new students are invited to attend with a parent/guardian.
For all other students, our teachers will provide a video welcome message posted to their YouTube channel, and/or an option to join a Zoom session during a scheduled time on August 10 between 5-8 pm.
Before HS clubs and organizations launch, we will also provide an opportunity to get an in-depth look at all the great programs Howe HS has to offer! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Elem or HS office. #HPSLions
Please practice social distancing at all events and although not required, you are welcome to wear a mask if desired.

๐ฆ JOM Program Enrollment
- Provide the student's tribal membership card, and/or parent's card & child's state-issued birth certificate.
Once a child is verified by the JOM office staff, the following are services that the JOM program offers to Howe students:
- Educational Supplies ($30 Wal-Mart Card)
- Academic Incentives per Semester
- Fees/Registrations
- Cap and Gown Fees for Kdg, 8th Grade and HS
- Cultural Awareness Field Trips and In-School Activities and Programming
