Our Terry Fox School Run is coming up fast and we’re off to a great start. All J.C.C. students, K-12, will be participating in the run on October 6. The leadership students have brainstormed many fundraising challenges to promote fundraising, including a school-wide cookie challenge and a staff lime eating competition. The top fundraising students will be invited to a fancy catered lunch, and the top fundraising class will be treated with a huge popcorn party! To date, the students have already raised over $500. Congratulations to all 18 runners who raced up the hills and through the mud at New Norway. Special congratulations to Liam Wassell - 2nd place, Ryley Hickle - 2nd place, Blair Campion - 4th place, Alexa Krismer - 8th place and Dominic Jones - 10th place. There were over 1400 racers at New Norway.

Little Caesars Pizza Kit Fundraising

JC Charyk School Council is doing their annual Little Caesars Pizza fundraiser. Paper copies were sent home with students in ECS - grade 9. Copies can also be picked up in the office. If you are interested in ordering online (there is a small transaction fee charged by Little Caesars), follow the online link below, and enter ID #426763.

CAREERS is excited to be back for the 2023-2024 school year and we are going to start off the year with a Virtual Introduction to our Young Women in Trades & Tech program. The virtual event is open to all students, school personnel and parents who are interested in finding out more about the program and the events that will be hosted throughout the school year throughout the province. We are happy to announce that we will be offering in person training for AGR 3000 to Green Certificate Students on October 12, 2023. This prerequisite course will be a free workshop that requires registration and will be open on a first come first serve basis.
