IF MONDAY or TUESDAY WILL BE YOUR STUDENT'S FIRST DAY ON CRESTON'S CAMPUS FOR THIS YEAR (if they were a virtual learner during Term 1), THESE STUDENTS SHOULD REPORT TO THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS UPON ENTERING THE BUILDING:
- Grades 5 and 6 = report to Auditorium
- Grade 7 = report to LGI Room
- Grade 8 = report to Mr. Day's Office (Room 105)
Fall conferences are scheduled for THURSDAY, October 22nd. This is a NON-SCHOOL day for ALL 5th - 8th grade students. Parent Conferences will be held VIRTUALLY - look for a special mid-week email coming from CIMS on Wednesday, October 21st with Zoom links for each teacher - this will help you connect with your assigned conferencing teacher conference day!
- You should have already received information related to conferences from one of your child’s teachers. If not, you'll receive it after fall break!
- Please note that students will conference with a Quarter 1 Teacher, so even if they have a schedule change starting October 19th, their conference will occur with someone who taught them during Quarter 1.
- Please make sure to check with your student to see what communication they’ve received about conferences, and respond accordingly. Details may have also been sent to your email.
- Term 1 Report Card grades will be discussed/shared during Conferences.
- If you do not yet have access to ParentVUE to access your child's grades, check the instructions HERE so you can gain the access you need.
- We anticipate and hope that 100% of our students and families will participate in this year’s conferences, which will be held virtually.
- We look forward to talking with all families via Zoom on October 22nd.
LUNCH UPDATES for IN PERSON LEARNERS
Students will be permitted to purchase "extras" during lunch periods. Each student will have a MAXIMUM of ONE additional item they can purchase, in addition to the school lunch. (Extras consist of bags of chips, etc.) Please note that exact change must be given to pay, otherwise the remainder will be added to a student's lunch account. Example: If an item costs 80 cents, and a student pays $1, the extra 20 cents will not be physically handed back to the student but will go onto their lunch account.

Parents needing to access bus routing information can visit ParentVUE online OR can call the Transportation Office at 317-532-2820.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
**If your child is coming to school in person starting the week of October 19th, please be sure they bring a mask/face covering! This must be worn at ALL times, except when eating.
**If your child did virtual learning during first term and is returning to in person, please make sure your child brings ALL textbooks/workooks back to school with them.
