When you sign up for the Smore free plan, you receive:

• 3 total newsletter credits
• 200 email credits that renew each month
• Access to a limited number of fonts, colors, and backgrounds
• Limited access to newsletter analytics

Forever! The basic Smore free plan never expires. However, you will be prompted to upgrade if you use all of your Newsletter or Email Credits, or try to edit a sent newsletter more than 30 days after sending.

• If you use all three newsletter credits, you will no longer be able to create additional newsletters
• Even if you end up deleting one of your newsletters while on the free plan, that newsletter credit will not be added back to your account
• You can upgrade at any time and receive unlimited newsletter credits

Once the newsletter is published, you will only be able to edit the newsletter for 30 days if you are on the free plan. All paid plans include unlimited edits.

You will always be able to share your newsletters! There is no expiration.

Each newsletter has its own unique URL address. If you duplicate your newsletter, a new URL will be generated. The only way to keep the same URL address is by editing the same newsletter every time, but then you won’t be able to access previous versions of your newsletters.

Your draft newsletter will automatically save every five seconds after a change is made. To be safe, it is best to edit newsletters using Google Chrome and only have one Smore tab open when editing your newsletter. We also recommend clicking “done” after each section to ensure your edits are saved within each section.

Once your newsletter is completed, press the “Publish newsletter” button to make your newsletter live or “Publish changes” to update a previously published version.

Yes! You can find all your newsletters and drafts in your Newsletter Library, and continue editing draft newsletters at any time.

A draft is a newsletter that hasn’t yet been published, which means that no one but yourself (the owner of the account) can access this draft.

Once you click on the “Publish newsletter” button, your newsletter changes from a draft into a published online version, which means that you can share your newsletter by using the share link to send via email, social media, or on your website.

The Mass Notification Export tool works with all Mass Notification Systems (MNS) that support adding or editing HTML code in an email or message post. Most MNS support adding HTML.

If you cannot find the button to add the HTML code or are not sure if your MNS supports this feature, contact their support team.

The Mass Notification Export feature is only available for Smore for Teams customers. If you are a current Team Account customer and cannot find this feature, follow these steps:

1. After you finish creating your Smore newsletter, click the “Publish newsletter” button, or if you are editing an older newsletter select the “Publish changes” button.
2. The Mass Notification Export button will then appear on the right of the white promoter box.

Smore for Teams accounts start at 15 users. If you need fewer users, please look at our Educator plans.

If you’re currently a Smore user and you join a Smore for Teams account, all of your newsletters, mailing lists, and settings will still be available. You simply need to log in as you normally would.

Smore for Teams plans offer discounted pricing for multiple users so you can implement Smore across schools and districts. License members enjoy exclusive features like collaboration, a management dashboard, and template sharing. Smore for Teams is also the only plan that can be paid via PO.

Yes. Every user on a Smore for Teams account will be able to log into Smore with their own email and password. You can designate an admin (or several) for your account. Admins can easily manage, add, or remove members using a dedicated management dashboard. Each user will have access to all Pro features plus exclusive Teams features such as collaboration and template sharing. To learn more about the differences between plans, click here.
