Martin School Family Update

Dear Martin Families and Caregivers,

Tomorrow your children will learn who their teachers are! What an exciting time! It took Martin Staff weeks and weeks to examine students' strengths, needs, and classroom compositions in order to create class lists. We're looking forward to sharing the results of our work with you tomorrow!

We are counting down the days until we see your children on August 30th! In the meantime, enjoy these final days of summer!

Teacher assignments will be sent to all families through our Aspen Portal on Monday August 21st at 3:30pm. All parents/guardians have the ability to log into Aspen to find their child’s teacher via their account. To access the Aspen portal, go to the district website and click on "Aspen Portal" on the top right hand side of the screen. You can also access the portal directly with this link. Portal accounts have been created for all parents/guardians, and all parents should have usernames and passwords (from when you registered your child(ren). If you do not remember your Aspen username or password, please send an email to aspen@naschools.net.

Kindergarten Orientation is scheduled for Thursday, August 24. The orientation will include an information session and a tour! Kindergarten students with last names beginning with letters A-I should come at 10am. Kindergarten students with last names beginning with letters J-Z should come at 11am.

We will be hosting a New Student Welcome for NEW Martin students in Grades 1-5 on Thursday, August 24 at 1pm. The event will include an information session and a tour!

Mrs. Caitlin Robbins, Martin's School Nurse, will be available for medication drop off from 11:30am-1:30pm on Thursday, August 24. If that date and time span doesn't work for your family, please email Mrs. Robbins to coordinate another time. Please remember, medications should never be brought to or from school by students.
