Summer Newsletter
Dear Families,
This newsletter has helpful links to Summer Reading and Summer Math if you need them. I've also included the link to next year's Walpole Public Schools calendar.
Please know that our office is not staffed until August 22, 2023. But we do monitor our office email listed below. So please use that for any questions you might have.
I will occasionally send an updated newsletter out in July and August with any additional information that you need to know. We hope that you all enjoy a safe, restful, relaxing, and fun filled summer!
The first day of school for all students is Wednesday, August 30, 2023. See you then!

Summer Math Program
All students received Summer Math information during the last week of class and it's posted on their grade level Google Classroom page. All students going into 7th, 8th, and 9th grades will be using an online program to complete the Summer Math this year. Incoming, Grade 6 students will complete a Math packet that was given to them by their elementary school. A link to that packet is included below.
Grade 8 Letter regarding Summer Math for Walpole High School.
Grade 6 & 7 Letter regarding Summer Math for Bird Middle School.
SUMMER READING PROGRAM
For rising 6th, 7th, & 8th graders: Click the link to access information on how to select and then sign up for a book for the Middle School Summer Reading Program.
For rising 9th graders: Click here to access information regarding the Walpole High School Summer Reading Program. Walpole High School students are expected to read one book from the Summer Reading List. They will meet in the fall in book groups to discuss their summer reading book. Students should use this form to enter their selected book.
