Our Holy Cross teachers and staff are so amazing! They work so hard every day to provide a loving and nurturing environment for our students. Each week I am amazed by the talent that our staff members share with us. This week was no exception. Miss Scott showed off her creative talents with our school. She has inspired our students to sing with confidence and spread the joy of music. I am not sure how many times I teared up during our Spring Concert, but it was more than once. I loved seeing our students so happy and showing off their vocal skills. Thank you, Miss Scott and our entire staff for making our Spring Concert a success! We are blessed to have all of you at our school.
We love our staff so much and that is why it is always so hard to say goodbye. We always wish that we could stay together forever, but God always has a plan which takes us on a different path.
Mrs. Berkelhamer has been a wonderful resource for us the past four years and has made a huge impact on the lives of our students. She is a huge advocate for each one of them. She is going to become a grandma soon and will be staying home to watch her grandson next school year. We will miss you, but we know you will be enjoying your baby snuggles.
Miss Emily Young has not only shared her talents with us the last three years, but her love for feathered friends has sparked the interest of so many of our students. Who knew there was such a large interest in a Holy Cross Bird Club? We promise to continue with this new tradition. We were blessed to have you share your talents, your humor and Toast stories!
We wish both Mrs. Berkelhamer and Miss Young well in their future endeavors and can't wait to hear all about their new adventures.
This weekend, please keep our second graders in your prayers. Our first group of students will receive their First Holy Communion on Saturday, April 30 at 10 am. We are so excited for them. May they always live their faith with joy!
