Who would have thought we would start Spring Break with a Snow Day? The unexpected inclement weather has forced us to make additional adjustments to our schedules. Reconciliation was on the calendar for Thursday, March 10. Organizing enough priests is challenging during Lent. We will do our best to reschedule this special opportunity for our students, but in case we are unable to do so, please keep in mind there are multiple times available at Holy Cross Catholic Church and other surrounding parishes. This would be a wonderful time for the entire family to participate.
Additionally, Holy Cross Catholic School will not participate in the Overland Park St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 12th. The temperatures are going to be dangerously low and we want everyone to be safe and warm. We will definitely sign up to participate next school year.
As our Eighth Grader students continue their Confirmation preparation this weekend with their retreat, let us remember to lift them up in prayer as they learn more about our Catholic faith and how to be a disciple of Christ. What a special time for our students and their families.
