Dear Highland Park Family,

As we reach the end of another school year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we have embarked on together. It has been a year filled with challenges, growth, and success. I am so pleased with all that we have accomplished.

First, I want to express my gratitude to our exceptional staff. You have been the guiding lights, shining strong, in our students' lives, providing unwavering support. Our staff have been working hard to strengthen community and ensuring every student feels that they belong as a part of the school community. Please join me in thanking the HPPS staff for their tireless efforts and for making a difference in the lives of our young learners.

I would also like to extend my heartfelt appreciate to our supportive parents and guardians. Your partnership and involvement have been crucial in ensuring our students' success. Thank you for your continued trust in our educational community.

As we bid farewell to this school year, let us carry lessons we have learned, the memories we have created, and the bonds we have forged. May the coming year be filled with new opportunities, exciting discoveries, and limitless possibilities.

Their dedication and commitment to education have made a significant impact on the lives of countless students and will be remembered for years to come. These three staff members' legacies will continue to resonate in our schools and we wish them all of the best in their future endeavors.

I am thrilled to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Rich McGlynn, Highland Park Middle School's Physical Education Teacher, on your recent induction to Kean University's NJFCA Hall of Fame as a coach! This incredible accomplishment is a testament to his dedication and profound impact to the sports you have coached. Mr. McGlynn inspires student-athletes and serves as a mentor showing students that they can achieve greatness on and off the field. An honor well deserved! Congrats!

This coming fall we will begin the strategic planning process to co-create new district goals. I will put together meeting dates and more information in the fall. I look forward to working with the community to reflect on our current goals and to create new ones!
