We hope everyone was safe and warm this weekend! We are about a month away from our mock STAAR practice. Basketball season is over and the kids have begun training for track. And it seems as if our COVID wave might have ebbed and attendance is back up. Before you know it, we will be breaking for summer vacation! Thank you for trucking along with us!

Mandatory Meeting: Tuesday, February 15th at 6:30 at GMS cafeteria. A parent or guardian must be in attendance if you want to try out for cheer or mascot.

Practices: February 16, 17, 23, and 24. All practices are closed to parents. However, parents are encouraged to join us in the gym to record the routines on Wednesday, Feb. 16th at 5 pm.

Try-Outs: Friday, Feb. 25 beginning at 4

No adults or cell phones are allowed in the gym on the day of try-outs.

Boys will begin after-school practices this Monday. Please pick up your child at 4:30.

Girls after school practices TBA.

Notices for missing or overdue books went home last week. Some students still have books from other schools. Please get this take care of before going to GHS.
