Dear Huskie families,

Every few months we like to remind our families how important safety is in our parking lot:

• Please DRIVE SLOWLY! Children are present and are difficult to see from the driver’s perspective. There are tight corners, and blind spots that make children vulnerable. Slowing down is one of the best preventive measures.
• Children should be escorted by an adult and AVOID RUNNING! Make sure that children are not leaving the front exit without a parent with them. Utilize the crosswalk when dropping off students.
• As the lot is small and does not have the capacity to accommodate all of our families, please be considerate at drop off and pick up times.
• Park in designated areas. Parking in fire lanes or areas that are not clearly marked for parking blocks drivers' view and space for navigation.

These rules are set in place to ensure the safety of all of our children. Slow down, be considerate, and stay safe!

Believe it or not, Reading Month 2023 is fast approaching. Fliers will go home soon, but we are excited to share that t-shirts are available to order now through February 10, 2023. After School Art class Winter 2023 is full. Please be on the lookout for more information to come about our Summer Art Camp 2023 being held June 7th-9th. More information to come after spring break. Early registration for this class is suggested as class size will be limited be sure to get your forms in early.

The boys' and girls' varsity basketball teams will be hosting a fundraiser at Culver's Restaurant on Gratiot Rd. in Shields on Wednesday, January 25th. The boys' and girls' basketball programs will receive 10% of all dine-in orders between 4:00-8:00 p.m. that day. Members of the boys' varsity team will be assisting customers from 4:00-6:00 while members of the girls' varsity team will be assisting customers from 6:00-8:00. In order for the basketball programs to receive credit for the sales, customers must present one of the attached vouchers when they order. Players will also have them available at the door.

These scooters were found on the K.C. Ling playground. They were left behind over the Christmas break. Let us know if they're yours.
