Principal's Message
Thank you to all parents who attended our Parent-Teacher conferences last week. These conferences are a great opportunity to connect with teachers about your child's goals and needs for the school year. If at any time you have questions or concerns about your child's courses or schoolwork, we encourage you to either call the school or email the teacher directly. Another great way to keep up to date on your child's progress is to make sure you are connected through PowerSchool. Don't know how to sign up? Check out the directions on our website.
Junior and senior report cards will be distributed on November 10th. Elementary report cards will be sent out on December 6th.
Our cross-country and volleyball teams have had a great season! Cross-country wrapped this last weekend, and we had four high school students represent us at Provincials. This topped off a great season where our high school team won the Zone Championships. Thank you to all of our coaches for helping with these extra-curricular activities to start this year.
As we move into November and December, we will continue to keep you updated on upcoming events through email and texts. Stay tuned for details about basketball try-outs, and our upcoming community events!
Congrats to our High School Zone Champions!

Halloween Activities
In the morning, students in Elementary and Secondary will have regular classes for the first two periods. Secondary students will follow a modified schedule so they can have time in their morning core courses.
During periods 3 and 4 we will be having our annual pumpkin carving. Our Gr. 1 to 6 students are encouraged to bring pumpkins to carve. Our Gr. 7 to 12 students will be helping them carve those pumpkins!
In the afternoon, students in grades 1-6 will be getting dressed in their costumes at 12:15. If parents need to come and help them get dressed, they are welcome to do so. Our costume parade will start after that in the gym and all are welcome!
During the last period, students in grades 1-6 will be having a dance in the gym. For our secondary students, they are encouraged to bring a pumpkin as well as we will be having a pumpkin painting activity for them, hosted by our Secondary Student Vision group.
