Stambaugh Middle School
2020 - 2021 School Year
Welcome!
Welcome to the 2020 - 2021 School Year. The mission of Stambaugh Middle School is to EMPOWER each student, every day, with knowledge, character and skills to be successful HOUNDS. Even in times like these, our staff meets and exceeds this goal because our students are essential to our success.
We know the beginning of this school year is filled with many questions and anxiety for our students and families. Please rest assured that we are working diligently to make Stambaugh Middle School an environment where students are safe and healthy and have a rigorous instructional environment that empowers students with knowledge, character and skills to be successful HOUNDS. This includes our students who will be joining us face to face on campus and those who are participating in our eSchool through Schoology.
In this newsletter you will find out how and when to attend orientation. As always, please feel free to email myself or anyone listed below with questions or concerns you have.
Thank you and have a great day!

First Time On Campus Students
For our incoming 6th graders and any 7th & 8th graders who are brand new to Stambaugh Middle School, you have the opportunity to participate in a brief presentation and guided tour of campus on Thursday, August 20th.
To participate in this orientation you must sign up for an appointment. The appointments ensure that we have small groups on campus and are able to socially distance to maintain a healthy and safe environment. To make an appointment, please click here.
To ensure we are able to meet District, CDC and Health Department Guidelines, we are instituting the following precautions:
- Groups will be limited to 12 students. Each student can bring 1 adult.
- All will be required to wear a face covering or mask at all times on campus.
- Everyone (Staff, Students and Visitors) on campus will have their temperature taken. If the temperature is above 100, further screening will be conducted.
- While you will not be able to enter specific teacher classrooms, teachers will be available to answer questions.
During the brief presentation and tour we will cover the following topics:
