🛻Student Drop Off 🚗
Drop Off & Pick Up Procedures
For the safety and well-being of all students, we kindly request that parents and guardians refrain from dropping off their children in the staff parking. Instead, we ask you to follow the designated drop-off areas and procedures outlined below. We also have updated the school crossing zones. Please use the two crosswalks east and west of the school.
Option 1- Use the Gym parking lot to drop off/pick up (parents stay in the car)
Guardians may drop off students in the gym parking lot. We ask that you pull into the gym parking lot and use this area for all drop-offs from 7:10-8:00 AM. All students will need to enter through the main doors. All end-of-the-day pickups must occur in the gym parking lot from 3:15-3:45 PM.
Option 2- Park and Enter
Guardians entering the building (volunteering, assisting students with projects, needing to visit the office, etc.) may park on the south side in the gym parking spots (parking closest to the gym). All parents and guests must enter the front office and sign in with the office staff.
We need your Help!
The Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) team has been trying to maintain positive campus culture among students, staff, parents, and the community. One of our school goals this year is to ramp up our incentive and acknowledgment for positive and kind student behavior. We need your help to make our efforts go even further!
You can help us by donating to our school BUZZ store. If able, we would love any donation or contribution to help us achieve our goal.
Thank you in advance for your contribution. Assured, your donation will go toward our school store to support positive behavior.
Examples of possible donations:
- monetary donations
- stickers
- snacks
- candy
- any other items teens may want
- gift cards
Please ask your student about their BUZZ bucks and the app we have implemented. Thank you again!
We want to take a moment to emphasize the significance of completing and submitting the Free and Reduced Lunch Form for your child.
The Free and Reduced Lunch Program is a crucial initiative that helps ensure all students have access to nutritious meals while at school. Your participation in this program not only benefits your child but also plays a vital role in supporting our entire school community. Here are some reasons why filling out the Free and Reduced Lunch Form is so important:
Supporting Your Child's Well-Being: Proper nutrition is essential for your child's physical and academic development. By participating in the program, you help provide your child with daily nutritious meals that can enhance their focus, energy, and overall well-being.
Reducing Stigma: The program operates discreetly, protecting the privacy and dignity of students receiving assistance. By participating, you help reduce any potential stigma associated with receiving free or reduced-price meals.
Maximizing Funding: Our school receives funding and resources based on the number of eligible students in the Free and Reduced Lunch Program. Your participation ensures that our school receives its fair share of funding, which can be used to enhance educational programs and resources for all students.
Community Support: Demonstrating a high participation rate in the program sends a positive message to our community and potential partners about our school's commitment to the well-being of our students.
Completing the Free and Reduced Lunch Form is a straightforward process that can have a profound impact on your child's educational experience and the overall success of our school. Even if you think you may not qualify, we encourage all parents and guardians to submit the form to ensure that every eligible student can benefit.
