Picture Day for BES will be on Friday, September 29th.

September 21, 2023 Kindergarten students will be going to Hubers. Please be sure that you pack them a sack lunch and drink.

There will be a parent meeting on September 19th at 6:00 at BES for any 4th/5th grader interested in participating on the Archery Team.

Any student interested in participating in Cub Scouts, please join us for a meeting on September 19th at 6:30 at BES.

School will dismiss at 12:55pm on Friday, September 22nd.

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on October 2,3,and 4th. Please be on the lookout for information coming home.

Just something to go over with your children at home as well...

The first month of school flew by and I wanted to thank you all SO VERY MUCH for keeping our extraneous visits to the Health Office to a minimum!

We are starting to see an uptick this week in visits that aren't necessary visits, though. I know sometimes these kids sneak away from you at bathroom breaks, recess, etc. but I just wanted to send a reminder of the "6 Bs" that should be reasons students come to see me or Hillary.

• Bleeding (more than 1 bandaid can cover)
• Bad Breathing (asthma issues)
• Bee stings
• Barfing
• Bumped head
• Broken Bone (of course!)

Thank you again for your diligence with suggesting students use our Self Care Health Station! We are seeing more students use this each day and it not only helps us, but empowers them!
