PFE is HAPPY- Having a Positive and Purposeful Year
Letter from the Principals
Dear Panther Families,
We hope this letter finds you well. We wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for your incredible support of Pine Forest Elementary through the recent Boosterthon fundraiser.
Your generosity has made a profound impact on our school community, and we cannot thank you enough for your dedication and commitment to the education and well-being of our students.
The Boosterthon fundraiser not only raised essential funds for our school but also created an environment of enthusiasm, teamwork, and school spirit. Your contribution played a crucial role in the success of this event, and it goes beyond monetary value. It sends a powerful message to our students that their education is valued and supported by caring individuals like you.
The funds raised will be instrumental in enhancing various spaces of our school, from the Science Lab and Art Room to the outdoor atrium areas. Your generosity directly contributes to creating a better learning environment for our students, and for that, we are profoundly grateful.
Your involvement in our school community is deeply appreciated, and we hope to continue building a strong partnership with you. Your support not only benefits our current students but also paves the way for future generations of learners who will benefit from your kindness.
Once again, thank you for your generosity, commitment, and dedication to Pine Forest. We are honored to have you as a part of our school family, and we look forward to the positive impact we will continue to make together.
If you ever have any questions or suggestions for how we can further improve our school, please do not hesitate to reach out. Your input is valuable to us.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Wendy Anaya

⭐ GOLD FIGHT WIN Day in Humble ISD is Friday, September 15 ⭐
GOLD, FIGHT, WIN DAY, SEPT 15
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and Humble ISD is excited to continue the partnership with three local non-profits, Addi's Faith Foundation, L3 Foundation, and Mothers Against Cancer, to support families battling pediatric cancer.
You can show your support by wearing a GFW shirt (or any gold shirt) on September 15, which is Humble ISD's Gold Fight Win Day! Families can purchase GFW shirts at Ace Hardware at both Kingwood and Atascocita locations and Pretty Little Things in Kingwood. Campuses or organizations can make bulk orders (25 or more) here.
The Humble ISD Gold Fight Win football games are:
KHS vs AHS - September 21
KPHS vs Crosby - September 23
HHS vs SCHS - September 29
We would like to honor Humble ISD students who are currently facing the challenge of cancer or are cancer survivors at one of the football games listed above. If you have a child that would like to be honored, please complete this link. Any questions about this opportunity can be sent to Jerri.Monbaron@humbleisd.net.

Happy September Y’all!🍂🍁🍂
I have started our annual required state screenings of vision and hearing testing! These screenings are required for Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 5th graders. Please make sure your child is wearing or has their glasses or contact lenses with them every day if they have been previously prescribed. I will also notify you if a referral is going to be sent home for a further evaluation by a doctor.
Remember to always keep a change of clothes (including socks and underwear) in your child’s backpack. You never know when they might need them!
Please also keep your student home if they are feeling sick or have had a fever of 100.0 degrees or higher in the past 24 hours. Call me at 281-641-2105 if you have any questions on when or how long to keep your student home.
As always, please reach out to me at Mallory.Metcalf@humbleisd.net if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you!
