Words from our Principal
Bonita Vista Families,
Two weeks left until spring break! As we approach the break, I would like to remind parents and students that we need students to follow the rules and try their best in their classes. We have many end of the year activities planned and we don't want any student to miss out on an opportunity because of behavior or grades.
Next Wednesday, our 8th grade students will participate in a field trip to Bonita Vista High School where they will explore clubs and activities at the high school, be a part of a spirit assembly and experience what it feels like to be on the high school campus.
Counselors have been working with 7th grade students to choose classes for next year and that work will continue with high school counselors over the next few weeks. It's time to start thinking about next year! It is an exciting time as our 8th grade students transition to high school and our 7th grade students prepare for 8th grade. Please contact your child's counselor if you have any questions.
Thank you for your continued support! Enjoy your weekend.

Digital Citizenship
Everyone wants to keep their kids safe and healthy. One area that may get overlooked is the safety of our kids on the internet. Sometimes we just assume kids know the right thing to do. The best way to keep our kids safe on the internet is to talk to them about it. There are a lot of great resources available to educate yourself on the subject and make it easier to speak to your kids about. A few are listed here to help you begin to help your child develop safe internet behaviors
