We will also continue the fun on the following day, June 15. We have some fun activities as the Academy and Harvey-Swanson students combine to celebrate summer. We are in need of help for these days as well. If you can lend a hand, click the H.E.L.P. Group link below.

Thursday, June 15 is the last day of school before summer break. It is a half day and dismissal will be at 12:10 p.m.

Library Books

We are still missing quite a few library books from the HSE library. Please return the books to avoid fines.

Shine On

Well, all good things must come to an end.

As I was reflecting on the year, I would be amiss not to thank all of the teachers and staff of HSE and district administration. Their dedication is unparalleled. Their passion is unmatched. Their love for what they do is extremely evident. They go above and beyond everyday and your children are the biggest benefactors.

I start my day with all of those high-fives and I have to tell you, sore hands and all, it's a perfect way to begin the day. It is something that I will dearly miss over the summer and next year, as I have accepted an offer to lead another elementary in a different district.

Your child/ren will be in great hands as Mr.Phillips will be returning to the helm. We've connected many times to ensure a smooth transition.

So, until our paths cross again, I wish all of you well this summer and in the years ahead. Thank you for entrusting your most precious creation to me. I will miss each and every one of them.

EVERY MONDAY IS HAWK PRIDE T-SHIRT DAY!

June

9 - High School Graduation at 7:00 p.m.

14 - Field Day (JK-1 a.m. / 2-3 p.m.)- If your child is selecting lunch from the school, they will have sub sandwiches.

15 - Last Day of School is a 1/2 day. We are also having an end of year celebration with the Academy. We need volunteers. Please contact the H.E.L.P. Group if you are able to lend a hand.
