Welcome back to a new and exciting school year. We hope that you had a wonderful summer and that you are as excited as we are to return to school.

The first day of school for all students will be on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. The first three days of school (Sept. 7 - Sept. 9) will be one-session days. (See schedule details below.)

Information regarding your child's teacher, classroom, and drop-off/pick-up guidelines has been sent via email.

Please join us as we open our doors for the annual Back-To-School Night events. Both evenings will be hosted at Huber Street School.

Parents/Guardians of pre-k and kindergarten students will have the opportunity to meet their child's teacher at 4:30 P.M. on Tuesday, September 6th. All guests can enter via the Huber Street School gymnasium.

Parents/Guardians of students in grades 1 through 5 can attend Back-to-School Night on Wednesday, September 21st at 6:00 P.M.

Back-to-School Night provides you with an opportunity to meet your child's teacher and to see our school. Please remember that Back-to-School Night is a Parent/Guardian only event.

Huber Street School and the Millridge School are happy to welcome five new teachers to our faculty. The federal government's universal free lunch program expired this summer and our schools will return to offering free and reduced school lunch to only students who qualify based on family income. Families are encouraged to complete the Free and Reduced Lunch application if they believe they qualify.

As in previous years, if you would like to purchase lunch, please replenish your child's lunch account by logging into the Payforit.net (https://www.payforit.net/Login.aspx) website.

Huber Street School and Clarendon School will be serving a more traditional and expanded lunch menu. Please be reminded that students will need to input their Student ID number when purchasing items from the cafeteria (as no cash will be accepted.)

The Secaucus Board of Education requires to wear school uniforms on a daily basis, including field trips. Students are to arrive at school wearing the appropriate clothing as defined in the dress code. The following is a list of clothing items in compliance with the uniform policy.

Huber Street School is an elementary school in Secaucus, NJ that educates students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. The Millridge School (or Early Learning Center) is a satellite school that houses our pre-kindergarten students. Huber Street School has been educating Secaucus students since 1910.
