Chisholm Update

$66,122!

That was our fundraiser total announced this morning during our morning Charge Up! I think I heard later in the day that the total was up to $68,000, which is such an incredible and amazing number!

On behalf of our staff, I would like to thank all the parents for all their contributions to this amazing total! I would also like to thank members of our PTO for their help decorating the building, collecting and counting the money, and organizing the activities associated with this fundraiser. Your continued support of our school, the staff, and especially the students is truly amazing and greatly appreciated.

There is also information below on how to register for the upcoming Red Day Run, which will take place on September 23. The first 250 EPS Elementary students who sign up for this event will receive a sponsored registration fee for this event.

Our fall picture day is going to be split over 2 days this year since we don't have access to one of the rooms where we took pictures in previous years. Both our camera locations will be in the gym, but we will need an additional date to get to all the classrooms. Here is the schedule for both dates and the grade-level classes for each day:

• Tuesday, September 19th - Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd-Grade

  
  

• Wednesday, September 20st - 3rd, 4th, and 5th-Grade
  

It's hard to believe that we've just completed our 12th day of school, but it's apparent as a school that we have settled into a routine. I hope that you all have an amazing Labor Day weekend, and I wanted to remind you all that school will resume on Wednesday, September 6 (school is out on Tuesday, September 5th for a teacher collaboration/ professional day).

8:20 - Doors open and we will begin receiving students. They can eat breakfast or go to class.

8:45 - Our school day begins with announcements. Parents need to sign in late-arriving students.

2:55 - Pre-K Dismissal begins

3:25 - School Dismissal beings

All devices have a case to prevent accidental damage, however we strongly recommend that families purchase the $25/year Student Technology Protection Plan (STPP) for each student. Parents/Guardians will be financially responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged Chromebooks and/or iPads, as well as chargers and cases. This plan covers your student’s device at school and outside of school. You may pay for the STPP online via our InTouch payment system. If you have difficulties using the payment portal, these directions should be able to help. The last day to purchase this coverage is Friday, September 22, 2023.
