Dear Parents/Carers of Carleton Park,
I hope this message finds you well, and that you and your families had a wonderful Christmas break. It's a pleasure to welcome back all our pupils to Carleton Park J & I School after the festive period.
We are delighted to share that the return to school has been smooth, and our pupils have settled quickly back into the routine and expectations of school life. Your support in ensuring a smooth transition is truly appreciated.
Outstanding Attendance: I am thrilled to announce that this week marks our highest attendance since September, with a remarkable weekly figure of 98.6%! This is a fantastic achievement, and I want to express my gratitude to you for your regular attendance. Consistent attendance has an extraordinary impact on our pupils' progress and overall well-being.
We were also delighted to be able to send our Year 3 class to the Pontefract Library Cinema today, for being crowned the Autumn Attendance Winners!
Staffing Update: I am excited to inform you that Miss C Leith has joined our Carleton Park teaching team this week. Miss Leith will be sharing the teaching responsibility of our Year 3 class and will also contribute to teaching across various classes throughout the week. Her wealth of experiences and innovative ideas will undoubtedly enhance our already fantastic team. Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Miss Leith. We look forward to the positive contributions she will make to our school community.
As we embark on this new term, I want to express my appreciation for your continued support and partnership. Working together, we can make this term a successful and enriching experience for our pupils.
