Farewell to the 2021-22 school year. So where has the year gone? We have had a fantastic year, and we would like to thank all of our Jaguar families for all the support over the past school year! We appreciate you! We have many pictures in this edition to share from the last few weeks of school. It has been a busy year!

By now, you all know that Mrs. George will be leaving Thomas Jefferson to take a job in the curriculum department with Willoughby-Eastlake Schools. Mrs. Platt will be taking over as the new principal. Mrs. Platt was the assistant principal at TJ in the 2019-2020 school year. Mrs. Pasquale will remain as the assistant -principal and will be in the buildings on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

School will resume on August 18, 2022. We hope you have a safe and relaxing summer enjoying time with family and friends!

We had 3 winners for the Mystery Reader Contest as part of our One School, One Book.

Congratulations to Amya Rapaszky, Aaron Lemon, and Ava Kirchner. These students won some new books, a bookmark, and a 25.00 dollar gift card to Barnes and Noble.

Our grand prize winner for the OSOB scavenger hunt is Stella Veres. She won a cozy reading chair, a book light, a reading journal, and many books and bookmarks.

We are so proud of all of our 5th graders! They are an amazing class and we will miss them so much! They had a great last week of school celebrating their accomplishments over the past 6 years. As they move on to middle school, we wish them well and hope that they will always hold Thomas Jefferson in a special place in their hearts.
