Welcome to our CTS Snapshot - a weekly celebration update. We are delighted to share with parents and carers alike student triumphs at Corby Technical School. We are proud of every student and every success they have - please feel free to share with us any achievements they might have.

Year 9 Design and Technology
This coffee table was created by Year 9 student Lana, it is an amazing piece, Lana has worked extremely hard on this.
Hair Donation - Cancer Support
Year 9 student Seth has recently had his hair cut and has donated it to a cancer charity supporting children undergoing treatment. Well done Seth!
Year 7 Music
Pictured is Year 7 student Gabby who has made amazing progress in music lessons, Gabby is pictured playing the drum.
County Schools Challenge Winners
Our students who were the winners of the County Schools Challenge trialled the card game they developed this week with students from Oakley Vale Primary.
Year 9 Science
At the end of last term Year 9 students were working on sensory nerves and reflex arc in Science.
Train to Teach Opportunity
If you are looking for a new career or a return to teaching an open evening is being held at Brooke Weston Academy on February 24th at 5.00pm. Booking is essential.

- Mr Horne has nominated Year 11 student Abbie for excellent effort in Maths.
- Miss Hurtado-Lopez has nominated 7TE for their outstanding work and behaviour in Spanish.
- Miss Blencowe has nominated her Year 7 Art students who have made an excellent start to their new topic which is Cubism, making some excellent contributions to discussion.
- Mr Lee has nominated Year 11 student Lewis for his proactive work on Hegarty Maths, revising for a topic to prepare for an upcoming lesson. The following students have also completed the bronze standard in the Hegarty Maths Challenge, Andrei, Lewis, Emmanuel, Luke, Nosa, Cory, Jack, Halle, Grace, Bethany, Dylan, Debony and Mason.
- Miss McGrath has nominated the following Year 11 students for for the hard work and focus they have shown in the key concepts in Biology, Emmanuel, Lewis and Liam.
- Mrs Vaghadia has nominated the following students, Year 8 students Eva and Oskar for their great contribution in RSCS, Year 8 students Finley, Leila, Hope and Darcey for working very hard on their Sociology presentation and staying focused and dedicated, Year 13 students Taylor and Danny for the amount of dedication and hard work they have been putting in for their Psychology mock exam.
- Miss Fenner has nominated Year 7 student Dominik for excellent contributions in English this week and Year 11 student Emmanuel for his effort and attitude this week.
