TUESDAY: Alumni Day - Dress from Another Decade

WEDNESDAY: Ag Teacher Appreciation Day - Wear Camo

Barn Needs to be Clean by Thursday 2/10 Evening

Barn Members,

Your pens must be clean Friday AM & area in front of and behind your pen clean. Sweep &/or rake, whatever is needed to get the area around your pens cleaned up.

Please take out trash Thursday evening & pickup any feces or trash on the ground. We will have visitors Friday & need the barn to be spotless!

Alumni Fundraiser - We Need All FFA Members to Participate Deadline March 1st

FFA Members & Parents,

The VHS Alumni raise money for the Vandegrift FFA students in the form of scholarships, show payouts/awards, and general items needed by the teachers and students. We aim to award $6000 worth of scholarships to graduating FFA student members every year. We can only do this with everyone's help in raising funds to support this amazing program and the kids who commit so much of their time and energy.

We have a super easy fundraising campaign starting this month. It is a fundraising app that only takes a few minutes of you and your student's time to create. Then the student just sends out emails to family and friends and can also link to Social Media profiles.

To make it more fun, we are offering a $100 gift card to the student that raises the most money and a $75 gift card to the student with the most donors.

AET Record Books

Make sure to be updating your book with activities you're doing.

Please get with your advisors on any questions you have & get your records up to date for degrees.

1st year - Greenhand Degree

2nd year - Chapter Degree (must have Greenhand Degree)

3rd year - Lone Star (need to have received your Chapter Degree from year bf)

Travis County Youth Show UPDATES

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS:

Seniors must have their application postmarked by March 15, 2022. Awarded participants will be acknolwedged at our May Membership meeting.

2022 GOLF TOURNAMENT:

This is our only fundraiser of the year and WE NEED YOUR HELP to make it successful. Please pass along to any potential golfters ($125/person) and hole sponsors ($150/each). If you can't be a one those, please donate an auction item/gift basket by May 6th.
