Please consider donating towards our school playground for Joy of Giving day! The students in the picture above are showing you just how excited they are to put the playground right behind the school.

We have raised 93% of our total goal and in need of just over $7,000 to make this dream come true. If we raise the funds through Joy of Giving, we will be able to start construction THIS FALL and our kids can begin playing next school year!

Thank you everyone who helped to make last week's "Teacher Appreciation Week" such a fun event for all! From teacher out of uniform days, to treats and meals, to fun activities like Lottery scratchers, it was such a fun week!

Congratulations to Curtell Somado and Johann Trejo Hernandez for being accepted into the Loyola Scholars Program at Creighton Prep! We are so proud of them and are excited for what their future holds.

Speaking of rockstar volunteers - THANK YOU to Molly Anderson for her hard work with this year's yearbook. The first order came in this week and they look amazing. We are collecting second orders if you missed it the first time around. Please see the flyer for more information. You can also pick up an order form from the school office.

We are still looking for a full-time PreK lead teacher for next year. With Mrs. Petersen moving up to 4th grade, we are looking for a loving, committed, and dedicated teacher for our incoming PreK class.

If you know of anyone who is perhaps leaving another school, let them know of this position. Teaching at St. Cecilia is truly different than what people are reading about online and in papers. We would love to fill this position before summer begins.

We are also looking for a full-time instructional para and/or resource teacher. To continue to provide our students with the best support services needed, this individual would be a part of all classrooms and subjects. Please spread the word!

Please see the attachment below regarding information on Music in Catholic Schools. This program is open for any student in Grades 5-8 during the 2022-23 school year. Mr. Dan Irvin, our band instructor, was able to come into the 4th grade classrooms last week to discuss the program and hand out information. His contact information is on the attachment.
