New Injury Hotline Number Starts Monday!

We know and understand that accidents do happen, and we want to make sure everyone receives the best medical care possible when an incident occurs. With that in mind, we are changing our injury management program starting Monday, May 3.

This is what you need to do when an injury occurs:

1. Call supervisor, SQC (per our policy)
2. Call 855-MPL-OUCH or 855-675-6824
3. Have this information ready when you make the call:

Injured worker’s name, date of birth, and phone #
Date/time/type of injury, worksite location, brief description, and how the injury occurred

4. Injury case manager will contact the clinic with treatment authorization and a description of the injury

If the injury is life-threatening, call 911, then notify your supervisor and SQC.

All employees will be given a hard hat sticker and wallet card with the new injury reporting number. Make sure to place the hard hat sticker on the inside of your hard hat and the wallet card in a safe place. The wallet card can be placed in your wallet or inside your work truck for easy access.

In Virginia, foreman Josh Mays and his crew do an exceptional job covering holes with plywood where utilities have been spotted. They have noticed lots of curious people in and around their job sites so they mark the plywood with "hole" and surround it with cones.
