🎄✨ Spread Holiday Cheer to Our Amazing Teachers! 📚🍎

This holiday season, let's show gratitude to the incredible teachers who make a difference in our lives! 🌟 Through the West Ada Education Foundation's "Thank a Teacher" program, you can send warm wishes and appreciation to those who inspire and guide our students. When donating to the "Thank a Teacher" program all donations go directly to a specific teacher's classroom fund for their use on classroom supplies, activities, supplemental learning materials, etc.

🎁 How to Participate:

1. 🌟 Visit https://www.westada.org/page/donate to access the "Thank a Teacher" program.
2. 📝 From the "designation" menu select "thank a teacher". Then, share a festive message expressing your appreciation.
3. ✏️ Select the amount you'd like to donate directly to the teacher's classroom. Under "gift preferences" designate a teacher (first and last name) you'd like to thank and the school site they work at. Share a festive message expressing your appreciation.
4. 💌 Your heartfelt message will be delivered to your teacher, spreading holiday joy!

West Ada School District is fighting childhood hunger through the program Helping Hungry Minds during the months of November and December, 2023.

West Ada School District makes every effort to ensure that all students have access to a nutritious breakfast and lunch while at school because healthy food helps students do well in school. However, many families carry the burden of not being able to afford food or school meals. During the months of November and December, you can "Donate a Meal" to a child in need. Your donation will directly benefit West Ada students by providing healthy food to children, ensuring their academic success and contributing to their overall health. Join us this fall in helping hungry minds by giving a meal to a child.

Cost of Full Price Meals Daily for 1 Child (elementary):
Breakfast: $1.75 Lunch: $2.80

Cost of Full Price Meals Weekly for 1 Child (elementary):
Breakfast: $8.75 Lunch: $14.00

Cost of Full Price Meals Monthly for 1 Child (elementary):
Breakfast: $36.75 Lunch: $58.80

Cost of Full Price Meals Yearly for 1 Child (elementary):
Breakfast: $313.25 Lunch: $501.20

Join Us for Idaho's Largest Toy Drive! November 27 - December 5

'Tis the season to spread joy and make a difference in our community! We invite you to be part of Idaho's Largest Toy Drive, taking place from November 27 to December 5.

In our efforts to bring happiness to children in need, we have set up toy drop off points at the following school sites and the District Service Center:

• Eagle High School-Mustangs - 574 North Park Ln. Eagle, ID 83616
• Meridian High School - 1900 W Pine Ave. Meridian, ID 83642

• Owyhee High School - 3650 N. Owyhee Storm Ave. Meridian, ID 83646
• Rocky Mountain High School - Meridian, ID - 5450 N. Linder Rd. Meridian, ID 83646
• West Ada District Service Center - 1303 E. Central Dr. Meridian, ID 83642

You and your family can contribute to the holiday spirit by donating new, unwrapped toys. Each donated toy will bring a smile to the faces of the children who receive them.
