Dear Families of Glynn Middle School:

Hello! I am Dr. Carter Akins, Principal of Glynn Middle School, and I wanted to send this message of introduction. I look forward to joining and leading Glynn Middle School as we move into the 2021 - 2022 school year. Many plans are already in place to provide a smooth start to our school year as we continue striving toward providing excellent instruction and learning for students.

Take note of a few important dates and corresponding information:

• Rule the School: Rising 6th Grade students and families are invited to attend this event August 2, 10:00 AM - 12 Noon. To view more information and register, visit this link.

• Open House: Glynn County Schools will host an in-person open house event for middle schools on August 4, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM.

• First Day of School: Mark your calendar for the first day of school for students - Tuesday, August 10!
