Academy Days 2023 - September 23, 2023
U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito invites you to Academy Days 2023! All West Virginia students, parents/caregivers, teachers, and school counselors are invited to meet with admissions representatives from U.S. Service Academies, ROTC Scholarships programs, and the Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board (DoDMERB).
Meet with representatives from:

- U.S. Merchant Marine Academy
- U.S. Military Academy
- U.S. Naval Academy

College Night @ Apple Blossom Mall - September 27, 2023
College Night is returning to the Apple Blossom Mall on September 27, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Over 100 college will be present to answer any questions you or your student may about their next steps in the post-secondary world.
ExCITEd About Shepherd - Careers in Teacher Education - October 6, 2023
Find out how to become a teacher at Shepherd University's ExCITEd About Shepherd - Careers in Teacher Education event on Friday, October 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Knutti Hall. The event will include class sessions, focus groups, and tips for college success.
Lunch will be held in the Student Center Ballroom. Please bring either a packed lunch or $8 (cash only) for pizza, a drunk, and a dessert.
The event also includes walking between buildings/across campus, so please wear clothing appropriate for the weather and shoes suitable for walking.
Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from Shepherd University. Drop off/pick up is best, however, parking is available on the West Campus H Lot - about a 15 minute walk to and from Knutti Hall.

Shepherd University College Fair - Tuesday, October 10
Shepherd University will be hosting its annual college fair on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at the Student Wellness Center from 9 a.m. to Noon. FBI Teen Academy - November 2, 2023
This fall, interact with FBI Special Agents, Intelligence Analysts, Professional Staff, Special Weapons & Tactics, Bomb Techs, and the Evidence Response Team. Teen Academy is a one-day program for high school seniors who live within FBI Pittsburgh's area of responsibility to learn about the FBI and what a variety of career paths the FBI would entail.
