- Storyline Online - popular picture books read aloud by actors.
- KidLit TV - authors share their own stories.
- Story Place - interactive read aloud original stories designed for PK/K
- Author's Everywhere YouTube Channel - a mix of reading, writing, and drawing from the authors themselves.
- Children's Storybooks Online - pick from stories online for students to read.
- Just Books Read Aloud - popular picture books read aloud on YouTube
- Storytime with Bill - Bill reads popular picturebooks out loud, librarian style, but dressed for the book!
- Unite for Literacy - original picture books to be read by the student online with an option to have a voice read the page.
- Epic - a mix of original and popular books for kids to read (you can get a free teacher account to track students' reading).
- Reading A-Z - leveled books for the students to read (we have an account)
- Newsela - sign up for a free account and then create your class. Find articles for students to read and assign quizzes if you like.
- Read Works - sign up for a free teacher account and find all genres of stories for kids to read. There are also assignments included.
- Tween Tribune - short news articles K-12 that can be differentiated into three to four Lexile levels per article!
- Fun Brain Books - students can read books on this site for free (even Diary of a Wimpy Kid).
Typing and Handwriting
Play Type Racer - type a sentence or two and race others (I think you get it to race specific friends).
Dance Mat Typing - fun, animated, and coached typing lessons divided into different levels.
Ratatype - students can take a test and earn a certificate and learn to type for free.
Worksheet Works - free handwriting worksheets (you customize the size, paper, and type of writing).
Kids Phonics - students can click on each letter of the alphabet and they have to write (with the mouse) each letter in the correct order and then it tells you the letter and sound.
Writing
What If Genie - for older students - a what if question is presented to the students and they create the story.
Read Write Think - this site has a ton of student interactives (not all writing - they are all subjects).
Grammar Gorillas - a simple game in two levels (nouns & verbs only or all parts of speech) that gives immediate feedback.
Story Jumper - create your own picture book for free (you can pay to publish it).

Between the Lions - free videos for k-1 on vocabulary, phonics, phonemic awareness, comprehension, etc.
Free Rice - students find synonyms for words and grains of rice are donated to those in need.
Inkless Tales - animated letter videos, stories on video, read and write poetry
Into the Book - (older students) interact with the "super 6" comprehension strategies.

Khan Academy - K-12 explanations and learning activities (explained clearly).
Corbett Maths Primary - British based videos, worksheets, and quizzes for free.
Freckle - free for teacher accounts, create a class, assign work (not just math).

Fun Brain Math Zone - a lot of fun learning activities

Sheppard Software - (no download and no login) games in categories for students all elementary.
Toy Theater - simple games that mix interacting with an activity and then answering a math question. Use their marble jar to have students estimate how many marbles or answer questions about the different colored marbles in the jar.
Manipulatives Online
Didax - very clear and so similar to traditional manipulatives (ten frames, unifix cubes, beads, fraction pieces, and so much more)
Coding
Scratch Jr. - it's on their iPad, but from this link they can download it on their own device.
Code Combat - for older kids who type - this coding is more about giving sound direction.
Blocky Games - super interactive coding site for kids (more technical coding games rather than computer skills).
