All students will be required to watch two bands after their performance, prior to their call time, or one band before call time/after performance (depending on their scheduled performance). Directors will clarify report times with students in classes.

SERVICE HOURS OPPORTUNITY!

We will need help on stage at the Midwinter band concerts on Monday, February 5th and Tuesday, February 6th. If you are interested in helping, please CLICK HERE to sign up. You can also earn service hours for helping at the concert.

Please volunteer on the day you are not performing. Please meet the directors on the PAC stage at the beginning of the concert (6pm each day) and wear your Allen Escadrille shirt and jeans if you would like to help. You will be moving chairs and stands between band performances. Please send Mr. Hicks the appropriate link for Service Hours verification after the concert (neil.hicks@allenisd.org).

Congratulations to the Varsity, JV Red, and JV Blue winterguard programs for each earning 3rd place medals in their respective classifications at the NTCA Regional held at Independence High School on February 3rd. This is a very impressive accomplishment; we are excited to see the guards grow and improve every week! Thank you parents and congratulations students and staff!

Best wishes to our All-State Students as they will be representing the Allen High School Band and Allen ISD in San Antonio at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention Feb. 7-10. Earning a 6A All-State chair is the highest individual honor a musician can earn in Texas.

The 2024 Nomination Committee is currently seeking applicants that are interested in serving on the Allan Band Booster booster Association executive board for the 2024-25 school year. Please take a moment to look over the application, and fill it out if you are interested in serving on next year's board in any capacity. If you are interested in trying out for drum major or SLT, we will begin our training/workshops after Spring Break. They will be held (mostly) on Wednesdays from 4:30pm-6pm in the AHS Band Hall. The first 45 minutes will be general leadership/SLT training and the second 45 minutes will be specific training for drum majors. AHS & LFC Wind Ensembles will be required to attend the first 45 minutes of the SLT workshops as part of their Musicianship Class.
