Seguin ISD Fine Arts Department - September 2020
Back to School
Students and teachers have begun the fall semester after great anticipation. Although many new safety protocols are in place, one thing has not changed...the passion for the arts!
Elementary Fine Arts
Elementary fine arts courses continue to offer students quality educational experiences despite some new challenges. Several elementary arts teachers across the district travel with carts between classrooms to deliver instruction directly to students in their homerooms.

Friday Night Lights
The Matador Band and the StarSteppers will be performing at the first home football game on Friday, 9/25, in the new Matador Stadium! We are excited to continue to have fine arts groups add to the Matador Spirit at all home football games!
The band is under the direction of new head director Mr. Marc Telles.
TLU Music Partnership
Seguin ISD continues a partnership with the TLU Community Music Academy to offer string orchestra instrument opportunities for students as well as additional youth choir opportunities for students. Families should contact TLU Community Music Academy directly for enrollment information.
Performances this Fall
YES, there will be performances offered from fine arts groups this fall! However, some may look a little different. There will be some virtual showcases, there may be some live streamed, but regardless there will be a variety of ways to enjoy the talents of Seguin fine arts. Stay tuned for more announcements!
SEL & Fine Arts
Did you know? SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) and the Fine Arts are a natural combination. The arts fuel individual development while offering students the opportunity to reflect, observe, evaluate, and contribute to a greater cause.
One Town. One Team.
The fine arts staff represents K - 12 educators that are dedicated to providing students with outstanding opportunities in the arts while meeting the Seguin ISD vision "Exceptional Students to Exceptional Citizens."
Please welcome the newest members to the Seguin ISD Fine Arts Team for 20 - 21!!
