Event/ General Information
100 Years - EAHS Band turns 100!
The EAHS band program was founded in 2024! While the 2024 - 2025 school year is the official 100th anniversary, we will be celebrating the wonderful traditions of our band and music program throughout the next year.
Be on the lookout for the many ways in which we will celebrate and highlight our students' accomplishments over the years!
Private Lesson Information
With a new year, it is a great opportunity to begin private lessons! These are a wonderful chance to work individually with a teacher and work specifically on items you/your student may be wanting to focus on.
Finding the right teacher is crucial in order for this to be a success! Someone who works well with one student may not work well with another.
Take a moment to review this list of private instructors in the area. If you are interested in starting lessons, don't hesitate to reach out for more information!
Basketball Pep Bands
Throughout January & February, we will have pep bands performing at a few select home basketball games and a swim meet. Please see the listing below for dates of these events. Sign ups will be on the instrumental music library doors.
Girls' Basketball:
- Monday, January 08
- Friday, January 26
- Monday, February 05
Boys' Basketball:
- Tuesday, January 16
- Monday, January 22
- Tuesday, January 30
100th Anniversary - BAND DESIGN CONTEST
We are looking for students to draw a logo for our marching band to use for the 100th anniversary celebrations. This design will be featured digitally, on the front of our band t shirt, and in various other places (sousaphone covers, etc.) as we acknowledge the rich history of our program.
If you are interested in designing a logo, please see the information below:
- Submissions should be sent in by February 15, 2024 using this form
- Logo should be high resolution (scanned if hand drawn)
- Can be hand drawn, but computer generated is recommended
- Try to use school colors, but can accent with non-school colors
- Design should include:
- Easton logo (E with bulldog) OR Cursive E found on our uniform jackets
- 100 years (1924 - 2024)
Be creative! I look forward to seeing your artwork!
Winter Band Concert - CHANGE
Due to the altered schedule days with state testing & finals, along with the recent FL trip, we are going to be canceling our winter concert. Instead, we are going to do a video update on our progress in conjunction with the March 4th fundraiser in February.
In addition, our marching band & orchestra will be performing at a Showcase concert for the middle school in early February (more details to come).
This will allow us more time to learn our music, work on fundamentals, and get comfortable as a concert ensemble prior to a stage performance.
We did so many wonderful things in the fall! I am looking forward to our spring term and the many events we have coming up!
Northampton County Band Information
Congratulations to all of the students accepted into Northampton County Band! The first rehearsal will take place on Saturday, January 20.
We will provide transportation to & from Northampton Area HS, where the rehearsal will take place. Please plan to be at EAHS by 7:00a with your instrument, music, pencil & water.
Thank you!
January IMA Meeting - Tuesday, January 23
Mark your calendars! Our January IMA meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 23 @ 7:00 PM.
Be on the lookout for more information!

Our students work incredibly hard each year and we hope to be able to continue to support their needs through generous donations such as yours.
